Pharmacists dispensing drugs without a prescription

It’s a ridiculous idea, but hey, it may help take the liability burden off the physicians:

Finally, let’s make sure the trial lawyers are safe. After all, they have easy pickings with primary care physicians and drug companies when things go wrong. By shifting the responsibility to patients and pharmacists (whose liability coverage is not as rich as physicians), trial lawyers could find themselves out of a significant contingency fees.
