Intermittent explosive disorder

A study is attributing road rage to this psychiatric disorder:

The average number of lifetime attacks per person was 43, resulting in $1,359 in property damage per person. About 4 percent had suffered recent attacks.

Wonder how well it will fly in courts. Any bets on how long it’ll be before somebody uses it as a defence?

I think that’s the honest term for such behaviour Anon 9:00. It’s just glamourized into intermittent explosive disorder. :)
