Doctors gone wild: Con air edition

June 17, 2006

That’s one tough ophthalmologist:

The Tucson eye surgeon convicted last month of conspiring to kill his former partner broke another inmate’s arm in a jail fight, a Pima County sheriff’s spokesman said.

Bradley Alan Schwartz was reading in his eight-man cell early Monday when a fellow inmate flipped liquid from a lemonade cup at him, Deputy Dawn Barkman said.

Schwartz walked up to the other man, who threw the cup’s remaining contents at him, Barkman said. She said Schwartz then hit the man with his fist and a chair.

Kevin-

Your “tough” doctor arranged to kill a very good doctor here in Tucson. Your comments suggest that you are impressed by an addicted, psychopathic, egomaniac MD (not necessarily a minority).

I only hope that you only qualify for the latter, apparently a must for physicians.

If not, be sure to keep any of your additions or psychopathy clear of Arizona…

A convicted felon beating up another prisoner? “Tough” is not the word I would use to describe him.

I’m with Brad – this is not a matter for flippancy.
