Is it possible to use liposuction to fuel cars?

December 26, 2008

Yes it is, but it’s also illegal.

A Beverly Hills physician uses the “waste” from liposuction for gas. He claims that “the vast majority of my patients request that I use their fat for fuel–and I have more fat than I can use.”

Although the environmental intent was good, the state public health board was not so agreeable, and is investigating the doctor.

But don’t they want us to “go green”?

[Yeah, I know. Fat's yellow.]

The fat donors should get a discount on the doctor’s fee since he saves on gas money.

I thought about the association with “Fight Club,” too. See Plastic surgeon turns to liposuction fuel; gets good mileage per gallon of love handles at the OSHA Healthcare Advisor for a discussion on how this potentially affects medical practices.
