Her extensive experience includes serving on national and international committees, acting as principal investigator for clinical trials, and earning certification in translational research.
In August 2021, Dr. Schafer’s father passed away during COVID. After returning to work, she felt inspired to broaden her impact beyond individual patient care. Transitioning from academic institutions and being a physician, she became a business and media strategist after 26 years in medicine.
Her ultimate goal is to help fellow physicians unlock their full potential by combining their existing credentials with their passions.
