- Sudden Infant Death Risk Greater in Mountains. Babies born at a higher altitude faced a greater risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
- Delayed Dx in Psoriatic Arthritis Worsens Damage, Disability. Patients with psoriatic arthritis (PsA) who delayed seeing a rheumatologist by more than 6 months were more likely to experience joint destruction and to have worse functional disability than if they were seen promptly.
- Dyslexia in Kids Not Caused by Vision Problems. No significant association was found between vision impairment and dyslexia in children.
- Deposits Spotted in Gout Pts With X-Ray Confirmed Joint Damage. Monosodium urate (MSU) crystals are frequently present in gouty joints affected by radiographically confirmed damage.
