The more the better: Experience counts in angioplasty
“The study found the most meaningful cutoff number for angioplasty and related procedures by doctors was 90 or more — considerably higher than the benchmark of 75 set by national heart groups.

Those patients whose doctors had performed fewer than 90 such procedures had a 63-percent higher rate of major cardiovascular problems resulting from complications of the surgery, the researchers found.”

Kind of common-sense, isn’t it?
