A doctor is being accused of sexual abuse after he refused to support a worker’s compensation claim

“She told him she was laid off from one job, suspended from another after a ‘tiff with her supervisor,’ and running out of money when she asked him to support her claim for worker’s compensation, DeLuco said.

DeLuco – who was growing frustrated with the woman and skeptical of her symptoms – refused. ‘In the meantime, I suggested to her that it would probably be more appropriate to get a job,’ he said.

It was shortly afterward that the woman came forward with allegations that DeLuco sexually abused her during an appointment in August 1999, when he inserted a speculum into her vagina as part of a pelvic exam.”

He probably would have saved himself all this trouble had he used a chaperone during pelvic exams.
