  1. Psych Drugs Don’t Raise Death Risk in Mental Illness. Suspicions that psychiatric medications increase the mortality risk associated with mental illness were not borne out in a review of clinical trial data.
  2. Nontraditional Symptoms ID Men’s Depression. Traditional tools for diagnosing depression fail to include symptoms common in men, which may explain why they are diagnosed with the disorder half as often as women.
  3. Migraine May Change Structure of Brain. Migraine was linked to structural brain changes, particularly in the presence of aura.
  4. Blacks Slow to Opt for HPV Vaccination. Uptake of human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine has lagged considerably in African Americans as compared with other racial/ethnic groups for reasons that remain unclear.
