1. SSRIs Linked to Risk of Stroke. Use of the selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRI) class of antidepressants conferred a small, but statistically significant risk of brain hemorrhage.
2. Longer Baby’s on Formula, Higher the Leukemia Risk. Prolonged formula feeding may increase the odds for pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
3. No Heart Risk for Women From Calcium. The calcium supplements widely prescribed for bone health in women did not appear to be associated with increased cardiovascular risk.
