For something as simple as an acne follow-up, why have the patient (and patient's parents) drive across town, wait, and make a co-payment simply to be told "your acne is getting better".No reason similar protocols couldn't be applied to rosacea treatment follow ups, wound care follow ups..etc. If the clinical judgement is based on the appearance of something that can be photographed, send the photo to the doctor, not the whole patient.
