It hasn't. We've come a long way over the past decade in recognizing the biases introduced by the drug industry's financial stakes in clinical trials. This policy is a big part of that. For example: When bio-identical progesterone & estrogen is replaced by synthetic progestigin & estrogen some might conclude that hormones are not the cause of the cancer at all, but rather the combination of "synthetic" pharmaceuticals. With women scared away from hormones entirely due to the brouhaha, what effect does it have on heart disease in women. Just sayin.
