First off, cholesterol is not bad and studies have shown for many years higher cholesterol is better for you.LDL has been considered "bad" because of its association with atherosclerosis. Let's ask the big question... Why are my LDL's high in the first place? LDL cholesterol, which is produced by the liver, will go up during an inflammatory response. LDL cholesterol, basically cleans up after the inflammation. Most research today is leaning toward the inflammatory response as a much bigger factor for heart disease as apposed to cholesterol.Ask yourself, is high cholesterol the problem or is it just a symptom of the problem?Keep asking the hard questions...Thanks Dr. Kevin

I really have to question the cholesterol information we are getting today.
