I’ve made several radio appearances recently, so here’s your chance to listen to me, in case you can’t get enough of the blog.
A few weeks ago, I appeared on Barbara Ficarra’s Health in 30 Radio Show talking about social media and medicine. Are doctors behind the curve when it comes to social media? Is the medical profession slow to adapt to technology? Are doctors in the minority when it comes to twitter? What value does Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and blogs have for doctors and other health professionals?
Listen to find out.
I also recently participated in a mini-round table discussion on NPR’s The Takeaway, talking health reform with fellow physicians, neurosurgeon Charles Prestigiacomo, and emergency physician Tyeese Gaines Reid.
Enjoy the scintillating radio, and thanks again to Health in 30 and The Takeaway for the opportunities.

Great to hear your voice for a change. I find that your verbal communication is quite fluent, speaking to the topic easily and without distraction. Your presentation of the value of social marketing to health care providers is informed and valuable.
