Myth or fact?
The BMJ (via MedPage Today) has a fun article debunking several common holiday-themed medical beliefs.
Does the suicide rate rise over the holidays? Are poinsettias poisonous? Can you keep the pounds off by avoiding eating at night? Does your body lose more heat if you’re not wearing a hat?
By the way, studies show that sugar doesn’t change the way children act.
