A pediatrician resigns after calling Obama “evil incarnate”

November 16, 2008

Apparently, this Georgia physician didn’t take the results of the election too well and took it out on her staff, writing the following (via Pallimed):

“Since slackers have declared war on me by electing evil incarnate as president and guaranteeing that our business will never again expand, I will respond by declaring my own war on slackers . . .”

She has since resigned.

while i disagree with this doctors attitude, i do know of a number of docs around here who had staff who didn’t show up the day after the election day because they decided they didn’t have to work that day.

It’s crazy how much people get worked up over election stuff. It’s over.

Doc should relax, in the cozy certainty of the Immutable Law of Hilarious Political Irony.

The Supremacy voted for Obama to get the opposite of what is promised. That tactic is working well so far.

The Supremacy voted for Bush to get an orgy of nation building after Bush said in a debate, there would be no nation building. By his vote for Bush, the Supremacy also wanted to blow up to gargantuan proportions the Federal Register of regulations, the size of the federal government, of the deficit, the fraction of taxes paid by the rich. He wanted the economy destroyed, and Republicans are the best at that. Finally, the Supremacy wanted an East German style banking system owned by the government, lending to people the government told them to.

Of course, a Pediatrician behaving badly has national MSM media exposure in a matter of days. One professionally crucified for doing the right thing is still begging for print space/help from “the fourth estate” a decade after the fact.

Doesn’t say much for the MSM and speaks volumes about why both of us are so disgusted in the first place.

Resigned….or Shrugged….I expect to see a lot more of this.

I know precisely how she feels, but have had better judgement than to put in in writing in exactly those terms. Also, I don’t see how anyone can function effectively as a team leader after those comments about write-ups, etc.

I suspect that the practice has been out-of-control for some time, and the doctor burned out by it all. I feel for her.

Personally, I am thinking about just taking early retirement and living on a farm and growing my own food–dropping out of funding the “bail out nation” altogether.

This is no longer the “Land of the free..” and there are precious few brave–the American people don’t have the courage, faith, or love of freedom that made this country great and don’t deserve the efforts of community service made by the few. This sentiment isn’t because BO won–even the other guy was all about bailout nation. From the whiney docs on this site, to the sugar barons, to wall street, to the begger on the corner–they just aren’t worth the trouble.

If she really wanted to shrug, she could move to a cash-only business and refuse to teat anyone employed as a malpractice attorney, tax collector, or federal employee.
