Farewell Michael Crichton

Rest in peace Dr. Crichton. He was one of my favorite authors, and I’ve read almost all of his books. Among his more significant contributions was NBC’s long-running show ER, which changed the way life in the emergency department was dramatized.

Edwin Leap and GruntDoc share their memories.

We’ve lost two great storytellers lately.
Tony Hillerman died a week or so ago. He had a totally different topic, but was great at spinning a story that took you into his world.

There is no greater joy than a good story. The cosmos are lucky to have two excellent additions.
