And here, In the Indian hinterlands, Almost EVERY snakebite patient brings the snake along (a dead one, thankfully).Its so common that we are taught to identify poisonous snakes by their colors+scales+shapes and this knowledge guides us in initiating the treatment. ( whether ASV is required or not!!).I remember my seniors in the ER reprimanding the rural folks for not bringing the Snake along.
