My HMO was doing this last weekend. I was in and out in 10 minutes, and they didn’t charge anyone, as it was open to members only. A day of resources devoted to giving out the shots is a lot cheaper than treating people for the flu, or having them all come into the office for shots during the regular week. Logistically it all went very well, from a patient standpoint. I laughed about it at first myself, but it’s not a bad idea.
