Failing to do the imaging diagnostics *now*, means relying on physicians who aren't nearly as good as they once were at the art of physial examination and diagnosis.<br/><br/>Maybe the defensive testing comes partly from a change in skill set. You're going to have to get over resort to testing when diagnosis by is generally not done by someone skilled enough for it to be sufficient.
