Your body loses it&#039;s childhood memory of immunizations and it&#039;s a year or more before you can be re-vaccinated.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;So the parents who think they are protecting their children and that it won&#039;t matter much to other children who might get these childhood diseases because most aren&#039;t fatal are making the world a more dangerous place for my adult husband. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;While he is unusual I&#039;m sure the community is full of other immunity impaired folks who might also be at risk. &lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;It&#039;s seeming like kind of an un-civic thing to not do.</description> <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I vaccinated my children. <br />I never thought I would really care about this until recently when my spouse needed a bone marrow transplant.
