Another thing that is WAY overdone: prescribing the myriad of medications that people are on these days. Do they really prolong life? I invite MDs to come to an ER sometime and view how commonplace it is for older people to be on 15 or more meds. Now its starting to seep down the younger people.. Fascinating.
