"Whup them"

June 6, 2008

Obama is going to take a stick to those who oppose his health reform plan.

More importantly, I would like to hear some language on how he’s going to address the primary care shortage. His plan of reducing the uninsured assumes that there are enough primary care physicians available to treat them.

As Massachusetts is finding out, that’s simply not the case.

At most, Obama will get to be President, in which case he is basically powerless on this unless he can craft a bill that will pass in both the House and Senate. Easier said in a stump speech than done. Even if he succeeds, I wouldn’t assume that all those newly-insured have any reason to rush out and get health care.

And from now on, the official language will be Swedish.

And everyone will wear their underwear on the OUTSIDE.

How? Why he will just pass a law of course. Isn’t the fundamental belief of liberalism that there is no social problem that can’t be resolved with an adequate supply of laws?

“Liposuction isn’t going to be covered”

What if I have breast reconstruction? I might need liposuction to smooth out my replacement body parts. “Breast reconstruction” is written into the law, does he intend to mess with breast cancer survivors?

Obama gets in trouble when he starts talking too much. I forsee trouble ahead.

“Whup them”

As in, somewhere there is the point of a gun forcing goods or services from someone, against their will, without compensation.

The very essence of liberalism.

“Obama gets in trouble when he starts talking too much”

That is usually the case for people of don’t think enough–of no substance.

Obama is just a salesman for knee-jerk mindless liberalism. There actually is a thoughful variety but we aren’t going to get it from this guy.

He is a lefty version of George Bush. All sizzle.

Doesn’t anyone else finding it amusing that Obama uses a distinctly “black” term like Whup? He couldn’t have picked it up from the white grnadmother who raised him, because after all she was just a “typical white person” and wouldn’t be inclined to use such figures of speech.
