Maybe because he is a gov&#039;t employee he might receive treatment in Baltimore or DC.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;But to travel to another state and receive treatment is something that would be impossible under Medicare For All. There would be no logistic way to allow people to travel across country to get the &#039;best&#039; care. Obtaining the &#039;best&#039; care can only happen in a fee based environment.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;So, going to Duke to get treatment for brain cancer would have been impossible for Mr. Kennedy under Medicare For All.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Well, on second thought.
