I’m thinking that unless I’m not understanding this case properly, this would have been better left to a neurosurgeon to do in the O.R. No? All you need is for that nail hole to start filling up with blood for there to be a BAD day all around.

Could have been that that nail was the only thing tamponading off a life threatening ICB.
