When we started our group we showed HUGE differences in efficiency and cost benefit to the hospital. Now that the vast majority of comprehensive care docs have stopped coming to the hospital, our reference group has largely disappeared. Eventually, our current level of efficiency will become the standard and we will have to show improvements from within our group and less so from an external comparison. Our model of care has delivered exceptional ROI that makes our group a valuable piece in the economic puzzle of hospital economics. To sum it up, we are loved. That’s a great point.
