Ted Kennedy has a malignant glioma

May 20, 2008

A grim diagnosis.

Someone in the comments here called it early. Seizures and headaches are two of the most common presenting symptoms.

Treatment options would included a combined approach of post-operative radiation therapy and chemotherapy.

Best wishes to Senator Kennedy and his family.

I was the one who called the diagnosis, sort of. I said metastatic brain tumor, when it fact is was a tiny 0.5 cm primary glioma.

God speed, Teddy.
