Notice who the villain in re the RUC system is: ourselves.
The single biggest problem with medicine is that doctors do not treat other doctors well. This makes us a unique species; lawyers are actually quite kind to each other. We, in medicine, eat our young and trample on our less fortunate colleagues. Until we treat each other with respect, no one else, be they the government, the public, lawyers or health insurance companies, will respect us.
The “vocal, radical left”, huh? Is there any other kind of left for you indoctrinated conservative cavemen? You’re offensive.
Even with the United States coming apart at the seams at the hands of conservatives, tens of millions of mindless Americans, physicians included, go on drooling the same effete blather. You’re unteachable.
But you know what? You won. It’s your country to abuse as you see fit, and I am quite sure that you will continue to dismantle it with your failed ideology.
Like the “free market” that you people insist will solve all problems. It’s worked very nicely in medicine, hasn’t it, Og?
Me? I’m done with America. The writing’s on the wall, and I’ve got one foot out the door, so I really don’t care what else you do to it. But I had to comment on the arrogance and stupidity of your comment.
Oh, and incidentally, I really hope that you get your wish and do expunge America of all vestiges of that dreaded liberalism – like civil rights, elections and courtrooms – or did you think that conservatives like Louis XVI and Nicholas II came up with those ideas? Unbelievable.
