Peculiar, I am a gynecologist and was visiting in australia. A gyn there told me how difficult pelvic exams can be since patients are uncomfortable with lithotomy position and prefer to be examined on their side, in Sims Position. English patients ditto. They hate gyn exams because it is so exposed and humiliating. Presumable English is not european.
