It was just the culture of that medical community. One of the senior staff members told me when I moved there:<br/><br/>"You can make a good living in this town. But these people work hard for their money and it doesn't make things easier for us if they see us flaunting how much we make off of them when they get sick. Look around and you'll notice that this parking lot is full of 10 year old sedans and pickup trucks. You ought to consider doing the same. And I did. I felt at home with my Corolla.
