An end of life situation. Watch how the daughter handles it. Reminds me of something I said a few weeks ago:

As long as there are family members who “want everything done”, and back that up with threats of lawsuits, physicians will have little say in the matter.

I priced it. $3500.

Go to court give health guardianship to someone else. Enjoin the relative from further interference. That puts a judge between the doctor and any liability.
