Why is the doctor performing a police function? What does that have to do with Hippocratic medicine? Drug screens for legal purposes should be performed at sites established for that purpose, and do not need a physician, other than perhaps a clinical pathologist to be involved. Doctors letting themselves get coned into this role undermines the trust between the profession and the public.
