Where can I purchase one for myself?
AED’s in the home have nothing to do with what is wrong with healthcare. They are not covered by insurance or the taxpayer being bought with private funds for private use. If somebody wants to spend his disposable income on that, it has no impact on anything else in healthcare.
Is is just another personal choice of the expenditure of resources like going to a casino or eating out. In one case the entertianment industry gets the money, in the other food service, and in the case of the AED, the electronics industry. The economy is no better or worse off than if the person spent it on an HDTV.
