I had it with drug reps trying to dominate or steer the conference–and with empty rooms with no residents there–yes I know that If I were more interesting, etc etc.

But I will only talk to residents now if I have something important enough to me to say that I am willing to spring for lunch.

My advice to prospective doctors: Please do not attempt a medical career unless you are independently wealthy. There is simply no way it is worth it to be begging lunch from salesmen while mortgaging your future with six-figure debt while laboring for less than I pay our nanny. Get a real job and have some dignity.
