Graham suggests turning physician sign-outs into some sort of computer language.
All kidding aside, he brings up another good point:
If we as physicians don’t step up to the plate and do something about it ourselves, someone else will. And often that “someone else” isn’t caring for patients and doesn’t know what they’re doing.
