Excellent idea, Kevin. Community newspapers are hungry for material, especially if it’s free and attractive to readers. Readers are hungry for medical information.

I’m a medical writer, semi-retired, who specializes in translating from medical language to plain English. I can do the writing (your ideas or mine) and help with arrangements with local papers. The doctor’s time investment will be less than 1/2 hour per column.
