Canada doesn’t need more doctors. Canada needs fewer patients. In the history of mankind, many of the diseases afflicting the elderly are essentially byproducts of luxurious living. Medical care for everything from knee replacement to macular degeneration to BPH simply would not be necessary if people died at an earlier age as they did not too many years ago. It is time we all realized and accepted the fact that life past 50 is actually a luxury good.

I think Canada needs more doctors, so they should start opening more seats for new students.
