Or maybe it’s just not the place of government to incentivize lifestyle choices at all. There’s no way to really prove conclusively that one lifestyle costs more than another in an overall sense, it’s barely more than conjecture, and the studies change weekly. Just live and let live.
Maybe the government should just defend my rights, which is it’s job, and stay out of my *%$#@! personal business.
