My lipid profile was better with Vytorin than with Zocor alone. I wonder why? And now what do I do? I am scared to death of rhabdo as I know someone who ended up in the hospital on dialysis and is now off statins and scared to exercise. Every sore muscle after a workout has me not wanting to have my Zocor dose raised.

Patients will just have to bite the bullet and do the dirty work of watching their diet and exercising more. I am one that needs to walk the walk as well. It doesn't surprise me that Vytorin falls short because most drugs do. Genetics and bad diet are a hard thing to fight.
