Even-handed? Am i missing something. There is no independent evidence supporting the autism/vaccine link. PERIOD. following ABC’s reasoning, they should do a story about all the good things Hitler did for his Nazi friends in the 1930′s just to be “even-handed”. Autistic kids often come from highly functioning adults who harbor just enough autistic habits to make them very high achieving but just a bit odd sometimes. <br/>But the traits that cause parents of autistic children to have autistic children prevent the parents from easily accepting the reality of their own situation. They have the fixation disorder but lack the insight into their own traits to avoid falling into junk science traps. There is really no convincing people otherwise.
