I have never lost a lawsuit and thankfully have not been sued that often yet I have not been reimbursed, nor has my insurance company. Yet my malpractice insurance keeps going up, up, up! Right now the system is a lottery and lawyers take almost any case because when they win big it pays for the losers. Damage caps and loser paying for damages would do a great deal to curb the problem.
