It actually started when this UNLICENSED person was hired to do a PA job.
The article clearly states that the supposed midlevel failed the PA exam on multiple occasions. This suggests that he did not have the knowledge base to be working in an ER.
How he was credentialed is mystifying.

It is not that surprising that the jury penalized the medical group or the MD for not knowing that he was not a licensed PA.
