She is an intelligent, accomplished, practicing physician. There are hundreds of people like her in academic centers across the country who will be the last of their kind. They are truly giants who have been lashed down and denigrated by the accountants in the driver's seat of Medicare/AMA/etc. What she says in a polite way is correct, the fricking ABIM is taking away the dignity of the last true doctors bit by bit, for the sake of more money and "certification". <br/><br/>I hope they are happy when all the generalists are gone. <br/>b I saw Faith Fitzgerald speak one time at ACP.
