To apply more critical market forces the marketplace must become transparent(forgo insurance obscurities) and remove tax incentives to spend health care dollars....Then we'll see what is wasteful.<br/>But the crux is...who wants to shop for their trauma care....<br/>The humane way is a floor of coverage( uvment, rationed, clinky) and then the second tier... I receive so many bills after an ER visit that it is confusing and their so much wasted paper, postage, & effort in collections processes from hospitals.<br/><br/>I prefer to pay my balance when I leave the hospital. Not get baraged with bills afterward. I believe we could save $ in processing cost in the healthcare system.
