The controversy is well covered by Orac and California Medicine Man.

those parents who choose not to vaccinate, and therefore put MY kids at risk, should also be forced to enroll in a private religion-based school. They should live in a closed commune, with other religious idiots, to minimize the risk to the sensible who understand science & herd immunity.
If i had a dog & refused to get him the mandated vaccines, & he bites a neighbor, aren’t I liable?
What’s the difference with an unvaccinated kid who picks up measles & sneezes it all over my kid, e.g. who isn’t protected against the vaccine (since vaccines aren’t 100% effective), who then gets sick. Shouldn’t those parents be held responsible, and unable to claim that they did it for their “faith”?
More nonscience trumping reason, like the connecticut attorney general suing the ISDA to accept his theories on “chronic lyme disease”. Ironic that the internet is actually causing REGRESSION of intelligence.
