I’m not sure I agree with them about defibrillators and prostate cancer. Both are conditions which if left unchecked can kill.

It’s one thing to debate what to do about a PSA of 5 in a 70 year old. To tell a 50 year old to watch and wait is a bit too cavalier.

Telling any non-demented person with sudden cardiac death or inducible VT that they might not need the AICD is malpractice.
