If there was ever a cancer that you might be willing to wait a year, prostate is probably one of them. However, it's one thing if YOU, as the patient, CHOOSES to observe and wait on YOUR prostate cancer. It's an entirely different thing if you are TOLD you have prostate cancer, and the 1-year wait to be treated is shoved down your throat by the "system". Also, don't underestimate the detrimental effects of waiting, and anxiety.
