If there was ever a cancer that you might be willing to wait a year, prostate is probably one of them. However, it&#039;s one thing if YOU, as the patient, CHOOSES to observe and wait on YOUR prostate cancer. It&#039;s an entirely different thing if you are TOLD you have prostate cancer, and the 1-year wait to be treated is shoved down your throat by the &quot;system&quot;. Also, don&#039;t underestimate the detrimental effects of waiting, and anxiety.
