For high profile cosmetic surgeons, anything less than perfection is liable to result in a lawsuit - it's part of the game. Of course, if he really was smoking meth, that's quite a different story. But cosmetic patients can be notoriously vindictive people when they don't achieve their (often unrealistic) expectations.<br/><br/>I guess he grabbed the tiger by the tail one time too often.
