The bar graph ends at the same point for college professors, lawyers, natural scientists and physicians, but the 25th percentile line for physicians is the highest of any of the occupations, and the IQ spread for physicians appears to be one of the shortest of all those listed.

It appears to me that there are plenty of people in most fields that have higher IQs than some physicians. So much for “only the best and the brightest.”
