Thanks for quiting before I fire you!"<br/><br/>As a physician I too have done everything there is to do to keep a clinic going, including cleaning up. I was taught that getting the job of healthcare done is entirely my job--everyone else who works there is there to fascilitate that--and there is no room for "It's not my job." If it is needed to get the patient care, the ultimate responsibility for getting it done is mine. I was taught that is the fundamental difference between being a physician and any other member of the "team". Having said that, I am not going to have anyone working for me who finds any task needed for patient care "beneath" them. My response would have to be “Good riddance!
